What is Holistic Counselling?
Holistic Counselling takes into account all aspects of the client and how these make up the whole person; including physical, intellectual and spiritual aspects. It looks at how each of these parts are connected, making up the whole person.
How does it differ from traditional counselling?
Holistic Counselling uses strategies and techniques based on the client’s own wisdom.
What are the advantages of a holistic approach?
A Holistic Counselling approach empowers the client and helps them gain insights by exploring their own inner knowing and healing ability.
A range of modalities are used in Holistic Counselling. These can range from simply talking, guided visualisations and direct and somatic experience.
Whatever the client wants to look at and work on is the focus of the session. It is their session, the Holistic Counsellor is there to support the healing process.

|About Me, Pauline Butler|
Through my own journey of self-discovery and healing I unlocked a passion to help others to heal. With my gentle and non-judgemental approach I create a safe space for the client to be heard and for their healing to begin.
I truly believe that the client is their own expert. I work with the client to explore and remove the barriers that are holding them back from reaching their full potential.
I hold both a Certificate and Diploma of Holistic Counselling. I am currently undertaking a second Diploma of Holistic Counselling as I think continually updating my skills and knowledge is essential to providing my clients with the best service and care.
I am a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.
Group Workshops are offered on a range of topics on a regular basis, including:
CHI Connection Healing Insight co-hosts wellness retreats with Wilsana Yoga. 3 hour mini retreats include Yoga, an Interactive Group Workshop and Meditation.
Longer workshops can be booked and tailored to the group’s needs.
