About City2Coast Counselling

With plenty of life experience and over thirty years of professional experience in therapeutic settings, Lindy and Cheryl bring a depth of understanding and compassion to their work with individuals, families and couples. Using a range of modalities, they work with individuals of all ages, supporting them to heal from trauma, bring about desired changes or find direction. They also work with couples and families to resolve conflict, improve communication, develop understanding and strengthen relationships.

Lindy works from her room in East Brighton, whilst Cheryl works from her room in Inverloch.

About Cheryl Taylor (servicing Inverloch and surrounding areas)

Cheryl holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and Human Services and has advanced training and experience in Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Sandplay Therapy and Counselling Supervision.

Cheryl is currently a lecturer and supervisor at the Cairnmillar Institute in the Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy program, teaching Family & Relationship Therapy and Person-centred Counselling.

About Lindy Chaleyer (servicing the Melbourne Bayside area)

Lindy holds a Master’s degree in Counselling, a Bachelor of Social Science and a Diploma in Counselling. She also has training and experience in Relationship Counselling and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) which is used to treat and help those who wish to modify unhelpful behavioural patterns such as self-harm, suicidal ideation and drug abuse.

Lindy currently provides supervision to students undertaking the Master of Counselling at Monash University.
