ABOUT

I often think of how much time, effort and money we spend on our cars to have them run smoothly. We make sure that they’re serviced on a regular basis, with the hope that they stay on the road for as long as possible without breaking down.

I see the body as the carrier of our soul, and it is our responsibility to look after it. Nurture it, and service it on a regular basis with the aim of enjoying a healthy life without ‘breaking down’ too often. Enjoy your exciting journey towards health and happiness, and allow me to be your guide.

Born and educated in Germany, Connie studied French in the south of France and spent many years travelling around the world before she settled in the UK to study Herbal Medicine.

She gained her Diploma in Phytotherapy (Plant Medicine) in 2000 at the prestigious College of Phytotherapy in East Sussex, UK. Initially Connie practised Herbal Medicine in a busy Inner City Clinic in Edinburgh/Scotland where she also helped set up a Free Clinic for low income earners, pensioners and students. She moved to Australia in 2003 where she runs a busy Clinic in Peregian Beach, specialising in natural infertility treatment and cancer support. Connie has done further studies in Progressive Kinesiology, graduating with a Diploma in 2012, and Aromatic Medicine, graduating with an Advanced Diploma in 2013. She is a registered and insured member of the National Herbalist Association of Australia (NHAA), which also entitles her to offer private health refunds.

Connie lectures at Aminya Natural Therapies Academy on the Sunshine Coast, runs regular workshops and is a popular guest speaker. Recently Connie has set up a FREE CLINIC for Low Income Earners. People with a Pensioner Concession or Low Income Health Care Card are entitled to this service.

She is a great supporter of Integrative Medicine, and strongly encourages a cooperative working relationship between Medical Doctors and Natural Health Practitioners. In her spare time Connie is heavily involved in Cancer Charities and Community Events.

As a Mum of a blended family with five girls aged 20, 18 (twins), 15 and 9, Connie understands the

SERVICES

Adolescence Health

Puberty can be a very difficult time, not only for the teenagers themselves but also for those people around them.

Herbal and nutritional medicine can help teenagers with

  • skin problems, such as acne

  • poor concentration

  • lack of energy

  • mood swings

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • insomnia

  • PMS, such headaches, irritability, breast tenderness etc.

  • painful periods

Cancer Support

Just as each person is unique and must be treated that way, so too is that person’s cancer. In my work with cancer patients, I strive to

  • improve their general health

  • strengthen their body before the cancer treatment

  • help reduce side effects of chemo or radiation therapy

  • speed up their recovery

Children's Health

Childhood is a time of immense physical, social and intellectual growth. Ensuring healthy development in this vital stage of life can create a strong foundation that will last well into adulthood.

Detox Program

The Detox Program will enable you to cleanse your body of toxic build up, improve energy levels and boost your overall health. You will be amazed how easy it is!

Male and Female Infertility

The latest statistic shows that 1 in 5 couples have difficulties conceiving.

Fertility reduces with age, and there is no doubt that stress, poor diet and lifestyle adversely affects the quality of sperm and eggs as well. Important is to look at both partners to make sure that the man’s sperm count and quality is healthy, and treat the woman for problems that might be linked with infertility, such as endometriosis, polycystic ovarian disease, fibroids, over/underactive thyroid, etc.

Men’s Health

Often men’s bodies respond to their environment, and the effects of lifelong habits by creating symptoms that seem chaotic to start off with.

  • having to get up numerous times during the night to pass water

  • interrupted urine flow

  • impotence

  • depression

  • anxiety

Preconception Care

Preconception care is one of the most loving and responsible choices you and your partner can make together, not only for you and your child’s health, but also for future generations.

Women’s Health

A woman’s health is strongly connected with her menstrual cycle, which is a complex process under tight control from a number of body systems, such as the endocrine system (pituitary gland, thyroid, adrenal gland, ovaries, etc.), and the nervous system.

TREATMENTS

Aromatic Medicine

Aromatic medicine is the therapeutic use of plant-derived essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being.

Aromatic medicine is different to aromatherapy, as the practitioner is qualified to prescribe essential oils internally, unlike in Aromatherapy where essential oils are mainly used for topical application or inhalation.

Bach Flower Remedies

Bach Flower Remedies consist of a system of 38 plants and flower-based remedies which where discovered in the 1930s by Edward Bach. Each remedy aids a specific emotion and is prescribed either singularly or mixed together with other remedies to match your state of mind more accurately.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal Medicine is the oldest and most widely used form of medicine in the world today. It is medicine made exclusively from plants, which has significant advantages for treating many health conditions.

A Medical Herbalist combines orthodox medical knowledge and skills with the scientific understanding of plant medicines. Remedies are selected to stimulate or strengthen the body’s normal functions, and so help the body heal itself.

Progressive Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the use of muscle testing or muscle monitoring to identify imbalances in the body. It also recognises that there are flows of energy (Meridian) within the body that relate not only to the muscles but to every tissue and organ that make the body a living, feeling being. These energy flows can be evaluated by testing the function of the muscles, which in turn reflect the body’s overall state of structural, chemical, or emotional balance. In this way Kinesiology taps into energies that the more conventional modalities overlook. The aim is to use corrections and implement changes that allow the body to heal itself.

Nutritional Medicine

“We are what we eat” is a very popular quote, and I’d like to change that into “We are what we absorb”.

Your health is determined by what nutrients (vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and fats) your body is able to absorb and utilize. Many food products contain poor levels of quality nutrients, which is due to processing, storage and ultimately soil quality.

CONSULTATIONS

Initial Consult

  • Adult 90 min $150

  • Child 60 min $110
