Conny’s Integrative Approach to Natural Healing

To be able to help her clients, Conny uses various natural health modalities that compliments each other. This is her signature approach that has been effective in addressing whatever problem her client has.

Integrative Therapy

This technique utilises various modalities including craniosacral therapy, myofascial & positional release therapy, acupressure, kinesiology and remedial massage to promote balance and address physical trauma like back pain and joint injury. It also helps with all types of chronic conditions like debilitating pain & fatigue.

Other conditions it can help with are:

  • Insomnia & other sleep issues
  • Whiplash
  • Fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome
  • Migraines and other chronic headache patterns
  • Jaw restrictions
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Neck and back pain
  • Joint restrictions
  • Gut disorders
  • Hormonal imbalance

Because of its non-invasive nature, this therapy is also safe and effective for infants, toddlers and children.

Kinesiology

A natural health treatment that combines muscle testing and monitoring with principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to improve energy and body function.

By doing muscle testing, assessment can be done to find out what issues the body is having. This way, proper techniques can be used to promote balance needed.

Among these techniques is acupressure, which is very effective in guiding the energy system towards better balance to calm agitation & overload in the nervous system. This helps improve health, wellbeing and vitality.

Conny uses two specific kinesiology approaches:

  • Touch for Health
  • Educational Kinesiology

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Founded by Dr William Garner and rooted in osteopathy, this healing art helps support nervous system regulation that resolves conditions caused by stress and trauma in the physical and emotional body. This is done by releasing membranous strains and restrictions in the bones, soft tissues, joints and organs, as well as deep connective tissues like the fascia, connective tissues and the fluids.

Take note that biodynamic craniosacral therapy is not a manipulative therapy, but instead is a gentle treatment that aims to restore health and balance to the body’s systems that can help relieve pain and dysfunction, as well as improve health and performance.

Sessions are usually around 45-90 minutes with the client lying face up on a treatment table. The therapist will work the spine, skull, sinuses, diaphragms, organs and fascia, and joints or muscles of the limbs.

Conditions it can help with are:

  • Headache and migraine
  • Tinnitus and vertigo
  • Muscle and joint pain or injuries
  • Congestion, oedema
  • Bowel issues
  • Nervous System Disorders
  • Orthopaedic Problems
  • Concussion and post-concussion symptoms
