As a senior yoga teacher, Nadine has spent more than 20 years of her life devoting herself to the practice of yoga and service of others. Upon having children she realised how pivotal every choice we make can be when we create our families.

At this pivotal point in life, healthy births and the practice of yoga can form solid foundations for calmer family life, strong family bonds and a healthy earth. Conscious Life Yoga, Conscious Birth grows from this belief and hopes to make this accessible to as many families as possible.

About Us

Conscious Life Yoga is the result of founder Nadine’s life long love of yoga. Having had yoga as her “rock” throughout her youth, pregnancy and having children, she realizes how especially beneficial yoga can be during the early years of familyhood and in children.

Nadine has a deep passion for supporting women and their families as they journey into parenthood.

Nadine discovered She Births® when she moved back to Australia and believes it gives couples the most well rounded, complete preparation for birth. The massive benefits of this course have now been proven through randomised, controlled trials, the results of which are soon to be published in the British Journal of Medicine.

Nadine is a senior Yoga teacher under Yoga Australia, having trained under the British Wheel of Yoga, The Birthlight Foundation, Rainbow Kids Yoga, Bikram Choudhury, Manju Pattabhis Jois, Bryan Kest & Duncan Peak.

Mother and Baby Yoga

Mothers are encouraged to reclaim their physical self by practicing hatha yoga poses with, and beside, their babies. This practice can help to gently strengthen and tone pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, increase energy and avert post natal depression while increasing connection with baby.

Practicing baby yoga is a great opportunity to enhance the intimate connection required for healthy development while providing a nurturing space to enhance your personal energy and find your own physical yoga practice.

Kids Yoga

Some of the many other benefits for kids include:

  • greater sense of well being

  • better ability to deal with conflict

  • better able to handle negative thoughts

  • positive improvements in communication skills

  • improved sleep patterns

Kids yoga suits all kids, male & female, of all backgrounds and is especially beneficial for kids with learning difficulties and special needs. Kids yoga is non competitive, engaging and most importantly, fun!

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic form of asana formed around sun salutations. The postures (asanas) are practiced in a continuous sequence co-ordinated with the breath, that encourages a physical meditative state.  Although the core movements remain consistent, each class incorporates new postures and new challenges.  Vinyasa is a dynamic meditation that encourages self awareness and a a here & now consciousness of body, mind and environment.
