Damian is trained in classical Australian Herbalism under Dorothy Hall, the renowned Australian practitioner and author on the subject of herbs and iridology. Damian has been practicing in Bathurst for a number of years and has appeared on radio and television. 
Damian believes in treating the whole person and is a wonderful counselor who is gentle, helpful, non-intrusive and non-judgemental.

Herbal medicine uses plant extracts to treat most conditions. It is a gentle yet effective traditional medicine that has been used for centuries. To determine the best combination of herbs to a client, Damian will take a history, use observation, questioning and iridology to determine the appropriate treatment.

A consultation lasts one hour and usually three treatments are sufficient, although clients with chronic, long-term conditions often have additional consultations.

Your Herbalist may also recommend you consider some other intervention such as massage or chiropractic care.

Problems treated

As Herbal medicine has developed over many centuries when there was no ‘modern’ alternative, it can be used to treat most conditions, from acid reflux to fertility. Subtle inbalances such as hormonal imbalances, anxieties, digestive problems, respond very well to herbal treatments, as do many chronic conditions such as insomnia, diabetes and hayfever.

Herbal medicine aims to treat the root cause of the problem – not just the symptoms.

Damian has as a special interest in Treating Sports Injuries and has released a line of liniments and ointments to help treat sports injuries, arthritis and many other ailments.
