Health Psychology also looks at the way people react and learn to manage chronic illness and how this also challenges their life style. It also promotes the benefits of life balance including execise and relaxation.
I have trained in using Cognitive Behaviour therapy, Narrative therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and reprograming, Debriefing, Thought Field Therapy and Hypnosis.
I am accredited with Transport Accident Commission and WorkCover as well as Medicare and Health Insurance Companies
Each session lasts 50 to 60 minutes, and the average number of treatments is six sessions. The number of sessions does vary from client to client and on the issues discussed.
Ms McNamara is accredited with Private Health Insurance Companies as well as the Transport Accident Corn mission, WorkCover, the Health Insurance Commission, Medicare and Department of Veterans Affairs.
A reduced rate is available for Pensioners and Health Care Card holders. Please notify Ms McNarnara before the first session if you believe you are eligible for a reduced fee.
Payment is due at the time of the appointment.
Anyone unable to keep an appointment is requested to cancel twenty-four hours in advance. Session fees apply if 24 hours notice is not received.
