Nutrition is a science, but eating is a behaviour. Most people know what they should do in terms of making healthy food choices but often portion size is an issue, and the way food is used in their lives is an issue. This can lead to feelings of dissatisfaction, guilt and ultimately poor weight outcomes.
I like to take a different approach to weight management and promote mindfulness and the non-diet approach as a means to better long term outcomes.
I am available for individual consultations for diet related health conditions such as Obesity, Type II Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, or Irritable Bowel Syndrome etc.

I am able to offer a bulk billing service if you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan (Care Plan) from your GP.

I am an Accredited Nutritionist based in Warrawong, but I am also available at the Illawarra Sports Medicine Clinic, Wollongong, on selected days.
As a nutritionist, I am very nutrition focussed. I do not recommend following fad diets, or promise quick fixes. But food and nutrition is only half the picture when it comes to achieving better weight management and optimal health.
Because everyone is different, and I don’t know how anyone other than myself, feels, I encourage my clients to practice the tenets of mindful eating so they can determine what is right for them. By listening to your own body’s signals, by acknowledging how you feel when eating certain foods, by pausing and considering your options, you can find your own natural balance.
