David Finnin has helped individuals of all ages to meet their unique nutritional needs. David works with medical specialists, gp's and other allied health practitioners for a range of medical conditions. When it comes to your health it's important to get advice you can trust!
In 2009 I graduated from Deakin University in Victoria to become an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Nutritionist (AN). Since then I have enjoyed a variety of roles dealing with a whole range of health conditions working largely in partnership with local gp’s, medical specialists and other allied health professionals. Diet For You is my private practice where I assist individuals of all ages shape their health with food that meets their unique nutritional needs.

Food Sensitivity & Intolerance
David Finnin specialises in gut health, and can assist you to identify triggers that may be causing you high levels of discomfort. Many people put up with uncomfortable gut symptoms for years, being unaware of proven strategies that can help with the control of symptoms such as bloating, constipation, diarrhoea and stomach cramping.
We provide assistance for the dietary management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. Receive personalised advice for managing your condition including diabetic friendly eating plans (if necessary), and up to date strategies for longterm diabetic control. With so much misinformation about diabetes it’s important to speak to a professional!
General Healthy Eating Advice & Meal Plans
We provide dietary feedback and advice for individuals and families who are looking to improve their long-term health. Learn how to incorporate health promoting foods into your daily routine, whilst finding the right balance with “sometimes foods” and “treats”. We provide tips for creating healthy meals (& recipes!) and can assist with choosing healthy snacks for all ages.
Managing Cholesterol & Blood Pressure
Nutrition can plan a huge role in reducing risk factors for heart disease, especially when it comes to cholesterol and blood pressure. We provide dietary tips and strategies to help with the long term management of these conditions, including personalised eating plans where necessary.
