MBSR – Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction – 8 Week COURSE
The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction 8 Week Course, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, is now being offered at DK Yoga.
Dyan has trained in and practiced mindfulness for many years. After studying with Jon Kabat-Zinn (the course founder) and Saki Santorelli, Dyan furthered her learning under Dr Maura Kenny and Timothea Goddard at the Mindfulness Training Institute Australasia (MTIA).
She now brings her warmth, insight and experience to teach the globally acclaimed MBSR course to those looking for a better way to face the challenges in their life.

The practice of mindfulness works on your mental and physical health and on wholeness and connectedness.
It’s about having greater balance in the present moment, while driving, working, walking, washing the dishes, texting or answering emails, feeling pain in your body, dealing with life’s stresses.
If you’re struggling with chronic pain, stress, depression or anxiety, mindfulness practices have been medically proven to help.
It also provides relief from heart disease, fibromyalgia, headache, IBS, and is also beneficial in relationships with others and/or intimate life partner, children and life issues.
Mindfulness can be practiced as a meditation practice from 3 minutes to 30 minutes. Most practices are 20 minutes.
