My name is Nicole Bovendeerd and I run Nicole's Day Retreat in Corlette, NSW. I'm originally from the Netherlands and I moved to Sweden in 2007. I have been living in Port Stephens since 2009.

I studied the Shiatsu Massage at the International Shiatsu School in Belgium and have been professionally treating clients using Shiatsu massage for over 20 years. I had my own business whilst living in the Netherlands, Sweden and now here in Australia.

I became a qualified Qigong Teacher in 2012 and occasioanlly teach classes from home and at the Birubi Surf Club. I became an Advanced Dorn Method Therapist in early 2014 and I am currently working towards becoming a lecturer in the Dorn Method.



Dorn Spinal Method

It is a wholistic, gentle, effective, non-manipulative and safe way to correct misalignments of the Spinal Column and other joints.

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu in Japanese means 'finger pressure'.

In this oriental massage technique we mainly work with thumb pressure. Experienced practicioners also use their palms, elbows, knees and feet.

Touch is the essence of shiatsu; a supporting hand in times of stress or pain always helps in recovery.
