What we do

Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy encompasses a broad range of practices that assist people to improve their wellbeing, alleviate stress, adjust to changes, resolve crises, and increase their ability to function more effectively in their lives.

Pamela has Post-Graduate Accreditation in Focussed Psychological Strategies, and is a highly Accredited Mental Health Worker. Pamela maintains a high level of Professional Development, and remains up to date with current therapies. In addition, Pamela completed a Bachelor of Social Work (1996) with studies in Psychosociology, Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Behavioural Science.

Pamela has practiced extensively in family therapy, individual and couple therapy, rehabilitation, group work and crisis intervention. Pamela has a keen interest in Womens Health, and has a strong background working with children and adolescents.

Pamela has worked comprehensively in psychotherapies involving both the medical model, as well as the humanistic model. Pamelas expertise enables her to treat specific forms of Mental Health Diagnoses (as found in the DSM-5), as well as everyday problems and difficulties, or meeting personal goals.

Pamela is passionate about seeing people challenge difficulties in their lives to create positive outcomes and achieve personal growth.
