Samet’s passion for health and wellbeing developed as a result of an active lifestyle from a young age. After injury setbacks as a result of elite level sport, the important of treatment, rehabilitation and prevention became a vital factor in his life.

Having extensive experience working with the Carlton Football Club, Samet grew a passion for working with athletes and the prevention of injuries and soft tissue dysfunction.

He lives on empowering others to be at their best through health and vitality. This includes changes to improve their health and sporting performance through providing the highest level of quality care and treatment.

Myotherapy is the assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, which may cause muscular dysfunction and pain thus affecting movement and mobility. Myotherapists utilise a range of treatment techniques to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structures which include muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

What does a Myotherapist do?

A Myotherapy consultation will typically commence with thorough history taking followed by various muscular, joint and neurological testing. Combined with manual palpation of muscles and joints, a Myotherapist aims to identify the cause of one’s pain to ensure quick, effective and long lasting results.
