Nurturing Natural Resilience
These sessions focus on restoring the nervous system to a state of healthy self-regulation and are ideal for anyone suffering from chronic stress or tension, anxiety, exhaustion, burnout, chronic illness, or trauma.
The sessions are individually tailored to each person and can include elements of Somatic Experiencing, Touch Therapy, Restorative Yoga, meditation, or guided somatic movement.
The common thread to all of these is that we explore the sensations and experiences in the body as a way to access what is happening in the nervous system.
Bringing your attention and mine into this field is a potent way to build new patterns and pathways.
We might sit together and talk as the exploration takes place, you may lie down, or move, we might do some touch work on the table, or we might explore a deep resting experience supported by yoga bolsters and blankets.
I bring to these sessions years of detailed study of the workings of the nervous system, experience in teaching and guiding others and my own embodied experience.
I will guide and support you in your own process, with a view to building in you the skills and capacity to do this work yourself.
When the nervous system is functioning optimally, we can navigate our lives with more ease, and be the truest expression of our unique self.
These sessions can be an hour or 90 minutes long, and are best taken as a series.
