Cupping

Cupping is an effective healing modality that is utilised to remove toxins from areas of tightness and pain. Cupping uses glass cups, held by suction, to massage the body. The action on the nervous system is often sedating and the client can experience a deep state of relaxation. Usually the cups are put on the shoulders, back and lower back. At the end of a treatment clients often report feelings of flexibility and lightness in the region which was causing pain, discomfort or range of movement restrictions.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is the use of a solid needle for the treatment and the recovery of muscle pain, also known and referred to as intramuscular stimulation. When treating trigger points for individuals with myofascial pain syndrome, dry needling is an invasive method in which a needle, often an acupuncture needles, is gentle inserted into the skin and muscle directly at a myofascial trigger point.
