About Ellies Range

Hi, I'm Ellie Jackson. Welcome to my Range! My Range not only refers to my products but also to where I live—on an organic beef cattle property called ‘Maintop’, north of Injune at the top of the Great Dividing Range. At ‘Maintop’ my husband Russell and I have developed a passion for high quality, natural and organic produce. We aim to produce only the very best merchandise that is not only good for you, but good for the Earth too. Ever since I was a little girl I have been drawn to the natural environment and I have learnt to respect its strength and fragility. I am conscious that what I do impacts on the world around me. One way I became more sensitive to nature and also came to appreciate its bounty was through gardening. When I first came to ‘Maintop’, I discovered the joy of gardening and I spent a good deal of my waking hours in our ever expanding garden. As well as planting trees and shrubs, I grew all the vegetables and herbs I used in the kitchen; some I knew very well and others I learnt about through growing them and researching their uses. I began studying naturopathy and a whole new world opened for me. Learning about the properties of herbs and the how and why of using them really sparked my interest. I still find it amazing just how many uses herbs have - Mother Nature’s medicine kit! My studies in naturopathy lead me to experimenting with my own recipes for Goat’s Milk Soap in a tiny workshop under our home. As the demand for my products increased, so too did the requirements for space. And when Russell glimpsed the warning on a recipe about the extremely volcanic consequence of incorrectly mixing the ingredients, he became quite nervous about my workshop being directly under our bedroom. In no time at all, a new shed was built for the cars, and I moved into the old one. I transformed the shed into my own laboratory/factory - and the real fun began!! Living in a remote rural area, however, I initially found it challenging to source ingredients that were fresh as well as chemical and preservative free. Fortunately, I discovered some wonderful local producers who were as passionate about the purity of their produce as I am about my products. Because they are local, I have first-hand knowledge of the processes they use and can ensure they meet my high standards as a certified organic farmer. My soap making expanded into what is now Ellie’s Range - natural body products created from sustainable, chemical-free plant based ingredients. These face, body and hair care products are designed for specific skin and hair types; and my line of soaps and moisturisers for skin conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, and eczema have been particularly popular. It gives me a warm glow of satisfaction to hear back from clients who have found relief from long-standing skin problems. There are also beautiful shampoos and conditioners, clay masks, salt scrubs, hair and feet treatments, luxurious bath butters and many, many more 100% natural and chemical-free products. I hope you get as much pleasure out of indulging in my Range, as I do in making it for you.

Hawaiian Massages

Hawaiian Massage is an epic journey based on the ancient Hawaiian and islander practice of massage and lifestyle. The Hawaiian Massage aims to balance and connect the body, mind and spirit while practicing everything through love and gratitude.

With its long, flowing, firm and rhythmic strokes, a Hawaiian Massage reunites your energies with your mind and body. The receiver will experience a calm and harmonious spiritual treatment.

Indulge yourself in my sacred, warm, clean and calming massage room, surrounded by relaxing music and subtle scents of organic massage coconut oil. It is the perfect comforting environment in which you can peacefully be at ease as all your stresses drift away.

In Hawaiian Massage we listen to the body, environment and heart. Hawaiian Massage helps you find the quiet time to reflect on what your mind, body and soul need to make their own wise decisions.

Every Hawaiian Massage session is different as it focuses on the specific needs of the client. However in general you will find that it includes:

  • Full body muscle relaxation massage.

  • Body alignment and stretching.

  • Lymphatic massage, reflexology, sinus and face massage.

  • Deep tissue, meridian line and trigger point release

  • Energy work/balancing, chakra healing, breath work and affirmation.

  • Guided and assisted meditation.

It can be used for a wide range of conditions including muscle tension and soreness (in particular necks, backs and legs), low energy levels and fatigue, depression, anxiety and emotional balancing.

Scheduling a massage once or twice a month will allow for your body and mind to unwind from everyday stress and overall improve your health. Repetitive motion activities and high-stress environments can take a larger toll on your mind and body, weekly appointments might be best to start with. Spacing your massages too far between appointments may cause for your progress to go back to square one. Make your health and well-being your number one priority.

Hawaiian Massage is my passion, a way of being and giving. I focus on the Aloha spirit to bring love, gratitude and balance to the session. During each session, my sole focus is on delivering beautiful, positive energy to my client in the form of an amazing massage.
