Therapeutic Touch Healing (TT)
TT is an intentionally directed energy exchange used for the purposes of healing.
How does TT work?
Therapeutic Touch involves an intentionally directed hands-on energy exchange designed to facilitate healing. Originating in the 1970s, research into Therapeutic Touch has shown the following benefits:
- Deep relaxation
- A reduction in the symptoms of pain, stress and anxiety
- An acceleration of the body's healing responses
Therapeutic Touch supports the client as they move towards a state of balanced energy flow, promoting their inherent healing abilities. TT can be used as a standalone therapy or in combination with other therapies.
At the core of Therapeutic Touch is the belief that there is a universal life force sustaining all living things. Disruption to the flow of this energy may result in a reduction in wellbeing and ultimately lead to illness. The goal of the TT practitioner is to restore balance and transfer energy to the client, enabling the bodys innate healing processes to be naturally accelerated.
What can Therapeutic Touch do for you? Find Out...
TT has an emphasis on the conscious use of compassionate intent used by the practitioner in combination with a centered or meditative state. This focused intent and meditative state ideally enables the practitioner to detect any imbalance in the client's energy field and subsequently facilitate a rebalancing of the flow of energy.
