Kinesiology identifies and diffuses causes of stress and imbalance in the systems of the body by using the body’s biofeedback system. It is specifically applied to one’s own unique and individual physiology. Biofeedback is via Indicator Muscles and Points, which identify where stress accumulates in the body. The Kinesiologist accesses the feedback through the 14 Meridian System and identifies the best correction through a digital database. This means a Kinesiologist can help virtually any condition. Holistic Kinesiology promotes enhancement of your whole being and balances personal goals and aspirations to any aspect of your life. More… As a practitioner for Equiessence –Kinesiology,I draw upon my own experiences to address our daily aspirations and struggles both emotionally and in relationships. I identify stressors using simple muscle testing to facilitate changes and to allow the body to heal itself. I promote healing from within and aim to integrate mind, body and spirit for long lasting ‘Balance’. My particular interest in mental health and wellbeing. Kinesiology is unique in that it relies upon an individuals own innate healing power and allows me to get below the surface of symptoms. This is very useful for trauma and emotionally challenging events in life, that can manifest themselves as physical symptoms.

About Us
More about Kinesiology

Kinesiology identifies and diffuses causes of stress and imbalance in the systems of the body by using the body’s biofeedback system. It is specifically applied to one’s own unique and individual physiology.

It was originally used by medical practitioners as a “study of movement”and was further developed by chiropractor George Goodheart D.C. over 30 years ago. He used the word “Balance”,as muscle tone was balanced left and right.

Dr John Thie,a student of Dr Goodheart created a system in the 1970′s based on Goodheart’s findings, combining Western Techniques with Eastern Wisdom. He called it “Touch For Health”.

Many forms have developed from there and in that time Kinesiology has proven that it can demonstrate the functional association between physical and mental areas in a way that is both visible and tangible for patients.

A Holistic Kinesiologist requires knowledge of: Anatomy and Physiology,Nutrition,Communication and Counselling skills,Energetics and Business Practice.

Kinesiology complements many modalities,some of which include:Western Allopathic Medicine,Chiropractic,Osteopathic,Homeopathic,Acupuncture,Reiki,Polarity Theory,Reflexology Aromatherapy,Journey Therapy,Lymphatic Drainage,Naturopathic,Holographic Re-patterning,Herbalism,Bowen Therapy,Alexander Technique,Shiatsu,Chinese,Tibetan and Indian Medicine.

However Kinesiology is unique in that it uses a direct feedback system from the body –through the Kinesiologist acting as a facilitator;rather than relying solely on their skills and knowledge. Thus a Kinesiologist is able to read BELOW the surface of symptoms and provide possibly more skills than one single modality.

Kinesiology’s strength also lies in the fact that it is non-invasive. A balance seeks to create harmony within each of the body realms.

Biofeedback is via Indicator Muscles and Points, which identify where stress accumulates in the body. The Kinesiologist accesses the feedback through the 14 Meridian System and identifies the best correction through a digital database. This means a Kinesiologist can virtually help any condition.

Holistic Kinesiology promotes enhancement of your whole being and balances personal goals and aspirations to any aspect of your life. It identifies factors, which block the body’s natural healing processes. These dysfunctions can be rectified in many ways, some of which are:

Transformational Kinesiology (TK) is a holistic energy balancing method that utilizes kinesiology in an applied form (muscle monitoring) to access information from the bodymind. TK combines the art of muscle response testing with the science of subtle energies.

During a TK session, muscle monitoring is used as a biofeedback indicator to identify limiting belief systems, stressors, and energy blockages that inhibit and prevent you from manifesting your full potential. TK is an integrative modality that is grounded in the science of subtle energies and utilizes principles of transpersonal psychology, holistic counselling, esoteric healing, acupressure, visualization, and meditation to facilitate growth.
