Karen has been practicing Bowen Therapy since 2008, and practicing yoga and meditation for over 25 years. Karen brings a high level of skill, experience and sensitivity to her treatments and teachings. After experiencing for herself the effectiveness of Bowen Therapy and Dru Yoga in treating chronic and debilitating back pain, Karen now is a passionate advocate of these modalities and enjoys seeing others becoming pain free and more mobile. Karen also has a deep love of meditation and appreciates the deep sense of contentment and equipoise that a regular meditation practice brings. Karen is also a scientist and is a qualified yoga therapist. She enjoys teaching yoga in various class settings from general community and corporate yoga classes through to specialised classes focused on mental health and trauma sensitive yoga as well as classes for chronic and debilitating conditions.
