Yoga for Pregnancy and Birth Preparation
Erlinda Yoga offers 3 programs for pregnancy and birth preparation.
- Prenatal Yoga 6 Week Program - 1 session per week. From 13 weeks pregnant until birth, plus bonus class with partner.
- Preparing for Labour and Birth with Yoga - 4 hours single session for pregnant women, from 13 weeks pregnant until birth.
- Yoga tools for Active Birth - 2 hour single session for pregnant women and their birth partners during their third trimester.
- The practice of gentle yoga during pregnancy optimizes the physical health of both mother and baby. It also helps to manage the common discomforts of the changing pregnant body.
- Yoga practice calms the mind and releases emotional stress which helps the baby to feel nurtured and secure.
- Yoga practices also provide an amazing opportunity to bond heart to heart with the beautiful life growing inside of you!
- By attending regularly you will cultivate an integration of body, breath, mind and spirit that will increase your confidence, preparing you for labour and birth.
Yoga After Birth - Postnatal
Erlinda Yoga offers:
- Yoga for mum and bub – 5 Week Program - one session per week. For mums and babies from 6 weeks old until pre crawling stage.
Erlinda Yoga after Birth practice is a kind way to look after yourself in the months or years after giving birth. Yoga after Birth can easily bring about a peaceful sense of wellness and balance, erasing your fatigue, aches and pains. It will help you maintain good posture and recover your core strength at any stage after having your children and calmly encourage you to be mindful of your truly amazing body as a mother.
Self-Care Yoga for Women
This is a restorative, meditative style of yoga that supports health and well being at all levels by bringing deep rest to body and mind. It is suitable for all women who are looking to rest deeply, restore energy, enhance healing, resilience, focus, creativity and more. Highly recommended for after birth recovery, menopause, insomnia, tiredness, and overly active mind.
Our Classes and Teachers
Classes at Erlinda Yoga are small, intimate and held in a relaxed atmosphere facilitated from Erlinda's home studio – a space dedicated to yoga with all the equipment necessary to make your practice enjoyable. We are two certified experienced yoga teachers who are passionate about caring for pregnant women and new mums.
