”What is reflexology?”

Reflexology is a unique method of applying thumb and finger pressure on reflex areas of the feet, hands or ears which correspond to all parts of the body. By stimulating them a physical reaction occurs so that healing can take place. It’s non-invasive and complements with modern medicine and all other modalities.

“When do I get reflexology?”

Whenever you think “I’m ok ”, then you could choose to have a session. It’s like with drinking water, you don’t really wait until you are thirsty, by then you could be dehydrated, you’d avoid that stage.

Think of reflexology as a preventative tool – no need to wait for fatigue or pain to happen, any time is a good time to have a session, if you look after yourself you can avoid health pitfalls. There are times when you are aching and need some care; on feet, back, shoulders, head or neck. When your monthly malaise is due; PMT/PMS, just to name a few...

”How often should I get reflexology?”

Make it regularly – put it into your weekly / fortnightly / or monthly routine. Your body will tell you if not your reflexologist. There is no should anyway – it’s your choice. If you do have health issues, you would come more frequently, also taking an active part in the healing process, you could apply reflexology on certain areas to enhance every session as homework.

“Does reflexology hurt?”

Yes it can do at times or in certain places, also depending on the sensitivity of a person, and the severity of the health issue. There are good hurts and more intense hurts. Pain is usually a sign of telling you that there is something that needs to be looked into.

”How much does a reflexology treatment cost?”

It depends on the lengths of the session booked. Anything between $75 and $130. Please note additional fee for house calls apply.

”How long is a reflexology appointment ?

Between 60-90 minutes. Shorter sessions available.

”What should I do after reflexology?”

What you should/could do; have a glass of water after the treatment to flush out the toxins that have been released during the consultation; this will also prevent dehydration. A short walk around the block, before you get back into your car or other means of transport. Slip back into your routine, pick up wherever you left off.

You might notice that your concentration on work/or other matters has changed and suddenly you could be open to new ideas.
