Jacob Hoskins

As a TCM practitioner, Jacob incorporates acupuncture, herbal medicine, remedial massage and dietary advice in the context of an individualised treatment strategy to treat a wide range of conditions.

Jacob's interests in Chinese medicine initially emerged from past experiences with sciatic pain and disc prolapse. This led him to seek treatment with acupuncture and tui na (Chinese Massage) in the early stages of this condition. He gained an almost immediate reduction in pain and an increase in mobility.

Having worked as a chef for many years Jacob has always had a deep connection with food as a form of medicine. For the past twelve years he has worked as a remedial massage therapist and has accumulated an extensive knowledge of the impact of musculoskeletal problems on an individuals health and wellbeing. He holds a special interest in the emotional connection to health and recognises that injuries and pain may have an emotional connection on some level and in fact are frequently interchangeable.

Jacob is registered with AHPRA and is a current member with ANTA.
