Foot Focus Podiatry
Foot pain may be a sign of a more serious health issue. Our podiatrists use a comprehensive approach to determine whether foot, ankle and lower limb problems are solely related to the feet or are the result of an underlying condition. Consult with them to learn about your treatment options.

This non-invasive treatment is done on a massage table while wearing loose-fitting clothing. Bowen Therapy works by releasing the adhesion between the fascial fibres through cross fibre movements, allowing the connective tissue to become hydrated and moveable.
In this way, the fascia becomes re-hydrated, thereby helping the structures located in and around this tissue. Nerves, muscles, lymph nodes, vascular structures, and organs make up these structures.
As a result of improved hydration of your fascia, toxins can be removed and nutrients supplied to your cells. A body in which there is a natural state of homeostasis enables your muscles, tendons, nervous system, hormones, lymphatic system, and vascular system all to function properly.
Drink at least 2 glasses of water before treatment and continue to drink 6 to 8 glasses after. Refrain from sitting for more than 20 minutes, avoid hot showers and baths, and avoid heavy lifting before and after your treatment.

Testimonials from Previous Clients
“Tanya is very holistic in her treatment and assesses from your jaw all the way down to your feet. Her appointments are very long and she is very thorough and knows exactly where you need treatment without you even telling her. She massages your fascia but it feels just like a deep tissue massage. I have been seeing her for years now and she always fixes me up, especially my back and neck areas. She works at Foot Focus Podiatry and this compliments her treatment very well as the podiatrists also consider how your feet impact all the way up to your pelvis and back. Seeing both Tanya and one of the podiatrist will get you fixed from head to toe. Thanks Tanya!” - Anonymous
“Always do thorough and holistic with her treatment. I have also had great experience using her prescribed tissue salts. Thanks Tanya!!” - Anonymous
Reflexologist for General Health
One of the most important parts of the body is the feet, which contain a quarter of all bones. Besides serving as shock absorbers and momentum initiators, they enable us to simply stand upright. Then why are they so often neglected?
Nowadays, there is no excuse to ignore the pain and discomfort emanating from our tired and overworked feet. For thousands of years, reflexology or foot massage has been a popular method of healing.
Moreover, it is much more than just a soothing foot massage, as both the feet and hands are regarded as physical 'maps' of the body's systems. By stimulating various reflex points on the feet, the corresponding bodily tissues are stimulated, be it organs, muscles, or connective tissues.
As a holistic healing modality, reflexology seeks to promote balance and eliminate factors that disrupt it. From the head to the fingertips and toes, the body is divided into 10 zones. As a result of stress, toxins, and illnesses, these zones become blocked or imbalanced, preventing the movement of energy.
In the hands and on the feet, the blockages manifest themselves as tiny crystals in the nerve endings. Through various techniques, stimulating these congested reflex points dissolves the crystals while simultaneously clearing the blockages in the zones of the body. The reflex points respond to the stimulus by restoring energy flow.
Aside from providing a deeply relaxing experience, reflexology also facilitates better blood and nerve supply to tissues and the elimination of wastes and toxins from the body. It encompasses a holistic approach to overall health and wellbeing.
Because it is non-intrusive, reflexology is both safe and effective when used alone or alongside other therapies like allopathic medicine. This is a completely natural therapy that provides pain relief without the use of drugs, which are too often thought of as a “quick fix” for disorders or pain.
Besides the benefits of reflexology and the healing effects it brings, it is also an excellent way to relax.
