Also known as Musculoskeletal Therapy is a physical therapy designed to prevent, treat, manage and rehabilitate musculoskeletal pain and associated pathologies. It also helps improve muscle and joint function and performance.

 What Is A Myotherapist? 

A Myotherapist is a primary care allied health professional who provide evidence-informed assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. Myotherapists are expertly trained in a wide range of orthopaedic, neurologic and functional testing to gain a thorough understanding of a patient’s physical state.

Remedial Massage Therapy

Combines various hands on treatment techniques with an intricate understanding and knowledge of the musculoskeletal system to treat a variety of injuries, pain disorders, tissue issues and aid in rehabilitation. 

It utilises pressure and the manipulation of soft tissue to reduce tension and pain, remove knots or stiffness in the muscles and enhance blood flow to any injured tissues or areas.

Unique to my clinic is Physiokey Therapy (SCENAR Device) which is performed using a hand held electro-therapy biofeedback device that can be applied to most problem areas which are causing pain to an individual. Electrical impulses are sent from the device which interact with the nerves of the painful region.
