About our podiatrists

Jessica Knox (B. App. Sc. Podiatry)

Jessica’s passion is improving the quality of life of her clients’ via good foot health.
Jessica has experience treating clients in private practice, high risk foot clinics and nursing homes. A graduate of the University of Western Sydney, she is a supervisor for podiatry students in their clinical practice and stays up-to-date with cutting-edge research.

For the last ten years Jessica has been an elite athlete, representing Australia in both Athletics (100m and 4x100m) and Skeleton, a winter ice sport. She was a member of the Australian Institute of Sport Women’s Skeleton Team (2004–5), competing in the USA, Canada and Germany. Athletics is her greatest love and she was selected in the Australian 4x100m relay team for the London Olympics in 2012.

Jessica’s thorough knowledge of biomechanics and injuries caused by running (from blisters to stress fractures), her advice has been sought by the Australian Athletics Team and by social and amateur athletes. Her training and proficiency give her a unique understanding of rehabilitation, lifestyle factors and the management of sports-related injuries.

Anna Crawford (B. App. Sc. Podiatry)

A graduate of the University of Western Sydney, Anna also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Diabetes Education through Deakin University. She specialises in treating patients with diabetic high risk feet, has worked in high risk foot clinics, the Tharawal Aboriginal Medical Service Airds NSW, and in private practice.

Anna is an expert in the treatment and prevention of complications from chronic disease and is regularly sought to give talks on diabetic foot care to health professionals and the general public. Anna has a particular interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries and treats members of the Australian Athletics team.

Anna is a keen sportsperson and trekker and understands the demands placed on the foot and lower limb by a wide range of sports, including: athletics, basketball, soccer, hockey and netball. Anna believes in the importance of efficient injury management and optimal footwear.
