Services Offered

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage targets specific areas of the body and provides a range of therapeutic benefits for those suffering from injuries or aching muscles.

An effective remedial massage treats damaged tense, knotted or immobile muscles.

By utilising a variety of pressures and techniques, your massage therapist locates and promotes the healing of the affected muscles.

Through this, remedial massage holistically treats your body by alleviating the cause of discomfort and the symptoms experienced.

Bowen Therapy

As a gentle and non-invasive form of physical therapy, Bowen therapy is ideal for infants, seniors, the frail and pregnant women.

Therapists perform a series of gentle movements over the muscles, followed by brief pauses, allowing the body to respond and engage in self-healing processes to target specific muscle groups and connective tissues.

Besides being suitable for injury rehabilitation, it can also be used as a general wellness program to resolve minor presenting issues and keep your body balanced and healthy overall to prevent small problems from becoming larger ones, which are often much more difficult to treat and take much longer to fix.

Dry Needling

A dry needling procedure involves inserting the acupuncture needle directly into a trigger point in the muscle, a hypersensitive spot that can cause pain in other areas of the body.

Deactivating a trigger point reduces the pain felt in the muscle or joint associated with it.

In contrast to acupuncture, which works with energy meridians and their flow in the body, dry needling focuses on joint and muscular injuries and pain.

Sports Massage

Sports massage offers benefits for people of all levels, whether they exercise and play sports to remain fit or compete at a professional level.

A sports massage is beneficial during training, pre-and post-event, as well as for ongoing injury prevention.

Sports massage has many benefits:

  • Faster recovery from injury or after training
  • Delays muscle soreness
  • Enhances lymphatic flow and circulation
  • Reduces muscle tension and improves flexibility
  • Improved overall performance
Cupping

Cupping treatment is considered being the opposite of a massage treatment.

This is because cupping pulls the skin upwards using vacuum pressure instead of applying pressure to it.

With a vacuum in place, the cup can also be moved across the skin using a procedure known as sliding cupping.

The sliding cup must however be kept away from bony areas, such as the spine or shoulder blades.

This therapy loosens muscles and stimulates blood flow to a specific area.

As a result, it reduces muscle stiffness and soothes the nervous system, calming the mind and body.
