Hormonal Imbalance

Our exceptional expertise in Hormonal Imbalance:will assure you of outstanding results

Feeling NQR?

Struggling to get through the day?

Feeling emotional and teary?

Struggling to lose weight even though you work out flat out?!

Ever considered that it could be your hormones?

Our hormones are an intricate system of messengers that tell the body what to do, when to do it and how. They act in synergy like a fine tuned orchestra, creating beautiful music when in tune.

However, when something throws them out of tune, (whether it is chronic stress, disease or nutritional deficiencies), when one instrument is out of key, the whole balance can be thrown out, creating a discordant cacaphony!

These imbalances can be responsible for symptoms such as:

PMS
Endometriosis
Painful periods
Low energy
Low Libido
Headaches
Bloating
Fluid retention
Weight gain regardless of exercise and diet

Yes thats right! These are SYMPTOMS but not a disease.

At Heart & Bowl Nutriton we can help you identify imbalances and work with you to bring your body back to a finely tuned state of equilibrium.

We also specialise in:

Sports Nutrition and Body Building Competition Preparation

Your Nutritionist Serena Harvey

Serena is passionate about wholesome, nutritious and TASTY food.

She believes that healthy eating does not necessarily translate into tasteless eating! Food nourishes the soul as well as the palate and effects the body and mind on so many different levels. As Hippocrates once said 'Let food be your medicine and medicine your food!'

With a background in the fitness industry Serena can orchestrate the balance between realistic eating strategies alongside realistic exercise regimes. She works around and with you to develop and sustain eating and exercise habits that are achievable and sustainable in the longer term.

Testimonials

" Serena has helped me so much in terms of understanding food. It is not just the food that the body needs but also the balance in life that it also requires. In turn the body actually will responds better to food rather than the other way around. Serena has helped me reach my goals, which I thought were totally impossible with the only way to get there being plastic surgery. After seeing her and following her instructions (if you cheat, it does not work!!!!), I was totally speechless when I saw the results and the changes in my body. I have more energy now and my mind has never been more clear. People around me started noticing how much my body had changed and how great I looked. These are the comments that made it worthwhile. She became my mentor and a friend with the journey I undertook to become a sports model and yes it was hard at first but it got easier (still tough at times), but I was able to manage it better. Without Serena, I would not have achieved what I have achieved and am still going to achieve. She was there along side with me the whole time whenever I needed her. I have also become a much stronger person and knowing that I am able to achieve whatever I want if I put my mind to it. I gained more confidence and respect in myself rather than constantly putting myself down."

Evelyn Trounsen, Sports model

"If I know one thing about Serena it is that she knows exactly what she is doing!Serena operates from a solid education in the area of health and nutrition; she is constantly researching and is always so generous with her knowledge and time. Serena explains things so well you can't help but be interested in your health. The suggestions she makes, you can be sure are the right changes to make. Serena is non judgmental and very kind; you can talk to her about anything. She lives and breathes nutrition and wellbeing and she practises what she preaches. Serena will help you become the healthiest you can be."
