Remedial Massage is an advanced therapy practiced by professionally trained Massage Therapists who have the anatomical knowledge necessary to manipulate soft body tissue to reduce pain and inflammation. Studies have shown that Remedial Massage can reduce the pain of the following conditions: recurring migraines, fibromyalgia, lower back pain and recovery from surgery. A regular Massage can offer relief from pain and stiffness, reduce inflammation, improve blood flow to specific areas and eliminate toxins from the body.
Trigger Point Therapy offers treatment for areas of hyperirritability in the soft tissue. They may be acute sources of pain or latent areas that the client is unaware of until pressure is applied by the Trigger Point Therapist. Trigger points are small contraction knots in the muscles, that may lead to muscle spasm and referred pain. A Trigger Point Treatment will involve manipulation and stretching. Firm digital pressure is applied to specific points which may be in a different location to that where the pain manifests.
Huna Massage is a traditional Hawaiian Massage technique that enhances the mind, body and soul connection. Huna Massage can be combined with Deep Tissue Massage techniques. A Huna Massage would be ideal if you’re seeking both a deep tissue muscle treatment and a relaxing, stress-relieving session for the mind and soul. Huna is a unique and visually beautiful style of massage, your Practitioner uses hands, forearms and body weight to create long, flowing, deeply connected, continuous strokes that glide tenderly over and under the body from head to toe and side to side.

Reflexology has its foundations in the principle that congestion or tension in any part of the foot is a reflection of congestion or tension in a corresponding area of the body. These points (reflex points) are found on the feet, hands and other body parts, although the most commonly treated area is the feet. Reflexology sessions have a duration of one hour and include a warm foot bath, foot massage and then Reflexology treatment.
