Biomesotherapy originated in Germany in the 1950s. It combines the healing principles of homeopathy and acupuncture for pain management, detoxification, and general wellbeing. George skillfully uses fine needles, similar to acupuncture needles, to inject a sterile saline solution underneath the skin at either specific acupuncture points or into identified trigger points. The primary goal of biomesotherapy is specifically designed for relaxing tense muscles and reducing pain by assisting the body to heal itself.

Acupuncture has been around for much longer, originating in China about 2000 years ago. It involves using very fine needles being inserted into carefully selected acupoints, based on your presenting symptoms. Acupuncture points are usually found along the various Meridians in the body. The great Chinese medicine practitioners of the past recognized that it is by virtue of the Meridian System that human life exists. They viewed this system as acting as a pathway for the vital substances of life, that is, Qi and Blood, to circulate throughout every part of the human body, in addition to acting as a means of communication between every cell and body system.

This ancient art is skillfully applied by Dr. George Dellas (registered Chinese Medicine practitioner) to assist you with various pain-related issues.
George also offers you electro-acupuncture, which is used to further enhance your body’s own pain-relieving chemicals, i.e. endorphins. This method involves passing a low current of electricity through two needles.
