About Me - Stacey Bout
Wellness, the definition; “the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as theresult of deliberate effort.”
I view kinesiology as a fundamental tool for wellness. As a modality that works with each individual holistically – as a whole being – it allows people to dive into and resolve issues on every level needed for full healing and balance. In my role as a Mind Body Practitioner, I facilitates you through your individual journey to help bring about balance and release to the issues through knowledge, insight and digging into my big bag of resources based on what your body intuitively knows it needs. An essential aspect for me is the knowledge that each client's session is, like them, unique and one of the best things about kinesiology as a tool is that it can be used for a wide variety of physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual purposes.
In 2010 I had my first experience with a kinesiologist after experiencing a literal “pain in the neck” that I couldn’t shift. After failed attempts through massage, chiropractic, and yoga, I will admit to being both amazed and sceptical during the session, but as the pain left, never to return, I gained insights into the core emotional issue that was causing the pain and left feeling lighter, clearer and most importantly – no more neck pain! My interest was sparked and within months, I enrolled in the College of Complementary Medicine.
My interest in natural therapy and energy work had been simmering for years before, so it wasn’t a surprise to me to find I had a passion and love of kinesiology from day one of starting my studies. It all seemed to “make sense” to me and has further increased my belief in the scope of change that can be achieved via a holistic approach. I believe that my clients benefit from this healing tool that allows subconscious knowledge to become conscious in ways that you may not have previously been aware. As a result, powerful changes occur - sometimes subtle and sometimes large - all by helping an individual to bring a new insight, awareness and balance to their being.
As an ex-military wife, and knowledge of the lifestyle that comes from being part of the defence force, I can see the life-changing benefits for both the serving members and their families, with a focus on depression, PTSD, anxiety, stress and coping strategies, in particular.
I previously filled the role of President of the Integrative Complementary Medicine Association (ICMA) for a number of years stepping out of this to focus on my business. I have a Bachelor of Sciences degree with major in Psychology and Management from University of Wollongong and a Diploma of Kinesiology from College of Complementary Medicine, and is nearly complete with her Diploma of Mind Body Medicine.
My clinic is based in Bondi Junction, a beautiful serene space that brings a sense of calm and safety for clients as we explore through the session.
I offer a complementary 15 minute “ask away” session via phone or skype for potential new clients to connect with me and ask the questions they would like to about my services before booking a session.
Bookings can be made via phone, email or the NT booking form.
