Institute of Sports and Spines is located at 820 Old Cleveland Road Carina. The facility is aimed at combining the ability to conduct performance testing with clinical treatment and management as well as rehabilitation and training programs for both the athlete and general public.

Remedial Massage

When muscles and tendons become damaged or impaired; knotted, tense or immobile, Remedial Massage helps to free up shortened tissues and restore the muscles to their healthy resting length.

Remedial massage combines a number of different techniques including; massage, trigger points, myofascial release and lymphatic drainage techniques to work on damaged or sore muscles, soft tissue or joints.

Exercise Physiology

Accredited exercise physiologists (AEPs) are allied health professionals who specialise in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. AEPs provide support for clients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, mental health problems, cancer, arthritis, pulmonary disease and more. AEPs are eligible to register with Medicare Australia, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and WorkCover and are recognised by most private health insurers.
