The Usui system of Reiki is an ancient healing technique originating in Japan. Rei meaning Universal Source (god’s wisdom) and Ki meaning life force energy. Reiki energy moves through the recipient’s physical body and awakens the body’s own natural healing processes.

Reiki energy flows to the depleted parts of the energy field and chakras and charges them with positive energy. This raises the energy level (vibration) of the auric field and chakras, breaking apart the negative energy to allow it to be released. Our energy field can become depleted when the energy flow is disrupted / blocked by negative thoughts, feelings and emotions attaching to us, this can happen on a conscious or subconscious level. Reiki clears blocks and heals the energy pathways allowing the life force energy to flow naturally and freely.

Reiki helps us to access and heal ourselves on a Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual level by releasing blocked energy and promoting a state of total relaxation. Reiki accelerates the body’s ability to heal physical ailments and opens the mind and spirit to causes of disease and pain. Reiki is a hands-on healing technique, very nurturing, gentle yet powerful.
