ART THERAPY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT 2018
Art therapy uses a wide range of creative medium such as sand tray, symbol work, guided drawing, collage and clay and incorporates Jungian Depth Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, Sensorimotor Art Therapy and Transpersonal Psychology.
This experiential professional development training for counsellors and psychotherapists is designed for practitioners who wish to integrate art therapy skills into their therapeutic work with both adults and children. This training will be conducted over 4 Saturdays for a limited number of interested professionals and students in Frenchs Forest Sydney.
Workshop 1: Introduction to the use of creative media

Managing Life Transitions
We all experience transition and change in life, such as marriage, divorce, empty nest, unemployment, chronic illness and retirement. Life transitions are challenging because they force us to let go of the familiar and face the future with a feeling of vulnerability. This workshop will help you navigate your life transition in a meaningful and purposeful way within the support of a small group. You will learn about your strengths and explore what you really want out of life so that you can ultimately gain a sense of renewed purpose and stability.

How to Raise Resourceful, Resilient & Well-rounded Children Workshop for Parents
Life with a small human can be hilarious, wonderful, demanding and unpredictable. All children are capable of behaviours that can bring the strongest of us to our knees and as parents and care givers we need to be equipped with a toolbox of skills for navigating these choppy emotional waters.
This workshop is for any parent who feels their family dynamics are stressful, current managing strategies are not working and who want to raise children who are resourceful and resilient and able to deal with the emotional challenges of life.
