Janes interest in Homeopathy began following the birth of her first child, who received homeopathic treatment for a severe skin complaint which other medicines had not been able to help with.
Jane has trained with both Stella Berg in the UK and at the Welsh School of Homeopathy with Linda Gwillim and Bill Rumble. She also visited Calcutta for 6 weeks in 2006, studying and working in slum clinics with Subrata Banerjea, attended several Allen College Summer Schools (Dr Banerjea's school in UK), Alize Timmerman seminars in UK & The Hague, Sankaran "Sensation & Beyond" in Goa 2008, and regularly attends SOH seminars and AGM's and Welsh School CPD events. Since her arrival in Brisbane in January 2009 has established a strong local homeopathic network.
Jane is a member of both the Australian Register of Homeopaths (AROH) and the Australian Homeopathic Association.
When she was in the UK, Jane set up a local branch of FOCC (Friends of Chernobyl's children) bringing groups of post-Chernobyl children from Belarus to the UK for a 5 year health improvement programme for those aged 7 to 12 years. This program involved the establishing and co-coordinating a team of Homeopaths to provide Homeopathic treatment, alongside dental, opticians, lesson plans, language training and other activities. You can learn more about this programme here < www.focc.org.uk >
This experience gave Jane valuable and early insights into the health and well-being benefits offered by Homeopathy, especially in difficult social, environmental and cultural situations. This experience also sparked a passion for Homeopathy and bringing it to a wider range of people.
Jane also set-up a pilot project with Charlotte Haynes and received a grant from HAT to assess the impact of Vaccination on childhood illnesses, as well as offering treatment to address developmental issues, skin complaints, allergies and other common childhood illnesses.

These essences are available from www.HealingOrchids.com.au the flower essences are often complementary to the Homeopathic process and may be prescribed as drops or as Aura Sprays.
