About Me - Julia Toffolon
My name is Julia and it is my greatest joy to share with you a little of the philosophy of the term "Holistic" and what that means in relation to healing.
Sometimes we forget that our body is more than just a sum of parts, a machine, and we too can forget to tune in to our emotions, blanketing those feelings that seek to be heard, and pushing on!
The sacred practice of spending time in our own company meditating, praying, walking or painting etc. is lost somewhere on the bottom of the to-do pile, and we become out of balance, stressed and unwell.
Our bodies are made up of various energy fields, the densest field being the physical body. Energetic healing, Reiki, balances the natural flow of energy and promotes health and relaxation, thus evoking a sense of peace and wellbeing. Reiki works on the emotions, mind and spirit as well as the physical body.
A Holistic approach to healing recognises that each individual comprises of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual elements, and attempts to heal the whole person.
It also acknowledges that the client is the authority on his/her life and that the counsellor is a support person who is witness to the process. The responsibility is given to the client to accept or reject freely any suggestions that do not seem relevant, therefore deepening trust in their own innate wisdom.
I have been interested in the connection between the mind, body and Spirit from an early age. I am committed to my own ongoing growth and have a strong desire to assist others on their healing journey.
I am a Heal Your Life® Workshop Leader and Heal Your Life® Life Coach. I have a Diploma in Psycho-Spiritual Healing, a Diploma in Holistic Counselling and am a Reiki Master/Teacher. I have achieved a Certificate in Angel Intuitive with Doreen Virtue, Touch for Health 1&2 and a Certificate in TFT (Thought Field Therapy). I am a member of A.R.C. (Australian Reiki Connection) and A.H.H.A.C. (Australian Holistic Healers and Counsellors association).
My own healing journey has been blessed with syncronicity, meeting always the right people at the right time, generous mentors and teachers giving lovingly and willingly that I may grow. In that vein I take their (many) teachings and add my own that you too may share in these blessings for your journey,
