Mental Health Conditions

I have experience with the treatment and support for Mental health conditions such as ADHD, Alzheimers, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dementia, Depression,  Stress,  Sleep Disorders and other mental health conditions.

As each person's Mental Health condition is an individual response and can be multi faceted, we need to explore the individuals needs on a basis by basis case.

We explore the physical issues such as

Allergies/ Food intolerances

Congestion in our Glymphatic system

Gut issues such as dysbiosis (leaky gut)

Heavy metal toxicity

Imbalance in Neurotransmitters

Inflammation

Insufficient methylation

History of stress, or prolonged stress

Nutritional Deficiencies

Sedentry Lifestyle

Toxic overload

Our brain messengers - Neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, serotonin, GABA etc, to name a few, all need to be in balance for you to feel calm, happy, in controll and content. Unfortunately, our neurotransmitters are put into imbalance when we are eating a poor nutritionally deficient diet, when we are going through more or prolonged stress.

We are all aware how important it is to excercise to help our body deal with stress, but also it is very important for aiding our lymphatic system which is responsible for helping to clear cellular debris and toxic load out of our body. In my experience, if the lymphatic system is congested it can impede the drainage of the Glymphatics (that is the lymphatic system of the brain), leading to various health conditions.

To aid with the emotional issues of Mental Health Conditions

I recommend Bach Flower Remedies, depending on the issue, and look at different remedies such as

Anxiety Issues

Aspen  the remedy for fears of the unknown or a fear that something bad is going to happen but you can’t identify what it is.

Cherry Plum  the remedy for bad temper, explosive anger, fears that you may lose control or feeling like you want to hurt yourself or others.

Elm the remedy for when you’re feeling overwhelmed, with too much to do and not enough time to do it.

Mimulus  the remedy for fears of anything that can be identified.

Fear of spiders, fear of dying, fear of heights, fear of losing your job, fear of flying, fear of a panic attack, fear of water etc.

Red Chestnut  the remedy for fears that somethng bad is going to happen to your children or family members.

Rock Rose  the remedy for reducing panic attacks.

White Chestnut  the remedy for repetitive thoughts or worries.

Rescue Remedy is a combination of five Bach Flower remedies including Impatiens, Star of Bethlehem, Cherry Plum, Rock Rose and Clematis.

Rescue Remedy a helpful remedy to keep on hand for stressful situations.

Bach Flower Remedies for Depression and Grief

Sweet Chestnut helps in situations when we are overwhelmed with despair after a loss, when previously we did everything in our power to avoid this loss. This overwhelming despair, accompanied by a lot of crying and feelings of despondency, as if we have reached the end of the road and there is no way out, will be overcome and eliminated using this remedy.

Star of Bethlehem, a grassy plant with stunning star-shaped flowers, helps in all situations of shock and trauma — when we cannot believe what has happened, happened to us, when we refuse to accept loss (of a loved one, dignity or status) and our feelings become paralyzed, frozen, our faces freeze and we cannot even shed a tear.

As you can see there are many avenues to explore, so please remember that there is help out there, you just have to ask!
