Natural Fertility and healthy, happy hormones

Natural fertility is definitely one of my passions. I have been able to help couples, many of whom were told that they would never have children, to not only be able to fall pregnant but to also sustain a full term healthy pregnancy, often with less birthing complications, and to have happy and healthy children

Old Naturopathic philosophy is that you need to be healthy and functioning your best to fall pregnant. As a process, I believe, that natural selection will not allow people to fall pregnant if they have health issues or imbalances.  We were taught that the reproductive system is always the first sytem of the body to not function if health is compromised in the other body systems, as we don 't need to fall pregnant if we are struggling to be healthy.

There are many reasons why fertility or hormonal issues occurr such as

"It takes two to tango"both people in the relationship need to be healthy. Ie the female and male both need to be in great working order, producing the best quality hormones and sperm.

Unexplained Fertility Issues

I have seen many couples who are told that everything is ok but they are still they are not falling pregnant. Often they are offered IVF if it continues for some period. But I suggest that if you feel your only option is to do IVF, whilst you are waiting, try a Natural Fertility regime.  I have had alot of couples fall pregnant in this period and also it can save you money and frustration whilst knowing that you are giving the best gift you can to your child - that is - great health.
I look further to help you understand the often overlooked areas that aid fertility, and when we balance you,  you go from unexplained to pregnant.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis  impacts many people today and their ability to conceive, but some women don't even realise that they have it. Even after some women have the endometrosis removed they  still don’t fall pregnant, this is because we need to find out and treat the underlying issues related to endometriosis and not just remove it.

Pregnancy to birth and beyond

Parenting is not just about conceiving. It is about creating a healthy body to help with conceiving, having a full term baby with no issues during the pregnancy and to give birth to a healthy, happy child, whilst helping the Mum and Dad through this transistion period to be healthy and happy to have the best life we should. So it's not just supporting through to conception but supporting through the whole pregnancy, birth and after care so that the parents and child are happy, healthy both physically and emotionally.

PCOS (Polycystic Ovaries)
PCOS is very common with more than 10,000 cases per year diagnosed in Australia. And that are they ones that are diagnosed as many cases fly under the radar. PCOS can impact fertility but it's not the be and end all, as there are many people who conceive successfully with this condition.

Thyroid Health
If your thyroid is not functioning to the best of it's ability due to stress, lifestyle, emotional and nutritional factors etc it can greatly affect your health and fertility. The thyroid is an important part of our endocrine system and therefore needs to be functioning to the best of it's ability.
By assessing the functioning of our thyroid we can see how we can adjust our lifestyle factors such as nutrition, stress management, excercise and mental processes to aid and assist this gland to function to the best of it's ability.

 Fertility Issues Second Time Around.

Been pregnant before but no matter what you do this time it's still not happening. We know this can be very frustrating, but once we understand what is going on in the body and adjust to the changes that may have occurred since your last pregnancy, you may be conceiving  before you realise.

Fertility over 35 and over.

Being told that you will have a hard time to conceive once you are over thirty -five as your eggs are running out etc, if not definitive but a general rule that does not occurr in all cases. In my opinion, we should not be looking at the our chronological age but your biological age. I have seen people over thirty-five and even forty conceive and have happy healthy children, even though in some instances, it is their first time to conceive.

Male Fertility

As mentioned above it takes two to tango and as male fetility issues account for up 50% of issues with infertility, we would be foolish not to address this.  In many cases sperm count and quality can be improved by addressing underlying health issues, such as, in my experience I.B.S., dysbiosis, sleep issues, insulin resistance etc we are thereby increasing a couples’ chance to creating a happy healthy pregnancy.

PMS/ Hormonal Issues /Menopause

Whether you are at the beginning of your hormonal transistion in life, in the middle of it or at the end, transisting into menopause you need not suffer no more, as your hormonal issues can be addressed. Anyone of these situtations in life can impact our lives physically, emotionally and mentally. Your whole symphony of hormone balance in the body depends not only on the oestrogen levels or the health of your ovaries, but on the whole endocrine system and the quality of the hormones the organs are producing. To balance our hormones in our body and help us sail through these transistion periods we have to look at the whole body. Because if one thing is out of place it affects the whole body.
Please note, in my experience from what I have seen, women who chose HRT or Natural HRT (ie troches) when these "bandaids"are stopped being used the person goes through menopause! Your choice, menopause at 50 or 70? My experience in people going on the "pill"to help their skin. period pain etc, eventually your body must get it's own balance.

Andropause

Women are not the only ones affected by the hormonal transistions in life. Andropause aff
ects quite a majority of men so don't suffer in silence, get the help you need to live the last transistion of life i a happy and healthy way.

Our bodies are amazing!!
About thirty-five years ago I met a couple who were told by their medical doctor that they could never have children, as they lady had only half of one ovary left and the husband had only one teste.
Five children later they wanted to tell the doctor something!!!!
