Kathryn offers weekly yoga sessions at her light-filled studio in Brunswick Heads, New South Wales.
Her week-long Artistry of the Soul yoga retreats, held in beautiful Bali in May and September, are a wonderful way to rejuvenate, relax and recharge. For those seeking a deeper exploration of voicework and authentic movement, Kathryn's Artistry of the Soul: Going Deeper retreat is also available.
Kathryn's yoga classes are an invitation to journey within, to experience your inner spaciousness, your connection with the elements, your inner peace and joy.
Practising yoga creates groundedness, lightness, suppleness and freedom for the body. Kathryn believes that the many gifts that yoga provides are a direct link to the body’s ability to self heal.
Through practising the asanas (postures), you raise your prana (life force), to higher levels. Practising yoga nourishes and strengthens every system in the body. The body experiences greater flexibility, balance, freedom and strength.
Yoga is also an invitation to harmonise the body/mind. When you lose your connection with the body, you can so easily feel disconnected and, ultimately, disempowered. Allowing the mind’s awareness to harmonise with the body provides a wonderful sense of relief, a feeling of coming home – in short, the empowerment of embodiment.
As Kathryn says, "Yoga is a journey to the divine, to our higher consciousness, to oneness, and ignites the spark of divinity within us all."
