It has been proven through research that one of the biggest risk factors for injury, is a previous injury. Pain and injury leads to compensatory movement patterning that will assist us through the short term but is not an effective nor ideal long term solution.
Adelaide Sports Pilates will bring professional methods of training, body awareness and movement training that are derived from Dan O’Grady’s 15 years as a Physiotherapist working with high level athletes in New York and in Australia.
We will teach you how to develop resilience in your body from within. We are able to do this by teaching you’re the principles of dynamic core alignment, you will create a solid base that will naturally lead to optimal performance in life and in sport.
A Pilates class will give you an amazing working and you will additionally learn about how to release tension and enhance your co-ordination whilst improving performance in other fields of exercise.
Our class details
Classes are held every Wednesday 6pm-7pm @ Fullarton Park Community Center/
Foam rollers, mats, balls and all other equipment is supplied. All you need is a water bottle.
