Lacey Clews Psychology
Lacey has been in private practice and consulting for the past 5 years where she also worked part-time as a psychologist for the ACT Government's Education and Training Directorate. Her professionalcareer has also included extensive work with emergency services personnel, including over 8 years of service as a psychologist for the Australian Federal Police.
Prior to this, she worked for a national Employee Assistance Program (EAP), where she provided short term, solution focused counselling to individuals, couples, groups and organisations in both the private and public sectors
Lacey's other memberships include international affiliation with the American Psychological Association and membership of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.

Lacey offers a broad range of psychological counselling strategies to support her clients. She works primarily with a Client Centred approach using where relevant strategies from other therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Lacey is a Master-Class trained practitioner of EMDR Therapy and is a member of EMDRIA - EMDR International Association. When working with clients with trauma she also works within a Attachment-Focused EMDR Therapy model framework to help address early childhood trauma.
Mindfulness, relaxation, and psycho-education are also a broader part of her overall counselling practice.
