Langmore Podiatry - Dry Needling

Focus areas

Neurological disorders Plantar fasciitis Joy Nails Love

Dry needling that is commonly referred to as trigger point therapy. Our skilled and knowledgeable podiatrists have undergone extra studies and certification in dry needling methods, which can assist in the release of muscle trigger points and in removing pain. Trigger points in muscle are essentially tight bands that stop muscle from lengthening and building strength efficiently. Going further, trigger points may also result in referred pain. Thus, what may be initially diagnosed as plantar fasciitis, may in fact be referred pain from a trigger point situated in your calf muscles.

Here at Langmore Podiatry, our podiatrists are highly experienced when it comes to working out whether your individual pathology is connected to trigger points, and are able to conduct dry needling to resolve your pain and lead to effective and efficient strengthening of the muscle.
