What is Ashtanga Yoga?
The Ashtanga Yoga method is an ancient system that was traditionally taught by the late master Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.
This form of yoga concentrates on the sequencing of the vinyasa, the bandhas, the drishtis, the mudras and the philosophy. When it is practised in its right order, this deeply traditional form of Yoga gradually leads to a vibrant healthy mind and body.
The process places a great deal of emphasis on the synchronising the movement of the individuals body with the breath through a progressive series of postures that develops internal heat. This will then bring about detoxification of the body and mind, enhances circulation, improves flexibility and develops stamina and strength.
