Hi, my name is Lisa, I’m a remedial massage therapist and a personal trainer.

I graduated from Melbourne Institute Massage Therapy (MIMT) with a Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2006 and up until recently have worked as a remedial massage therapist in a well-known physiotherapy clinic in Melbourne. In 2010 I completed my Certificate 4 in Fitness and have loved the opportunities this has brought me as a personal trainer with a keen interest in injury rehabilitation training. In the last 12 months my family and I have moved to the south west coast of Victoria and I’ve started my business, t2l fitness. t2l fitness provides mobile remedial massage therapy and personal training between the towns of Torquay and Lorne. I am passionate about what I do and am really looking forward to helping many people in this beautiful part of the world to achieve their health, wellbeing and fitness goals.


 

Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage is a soft tissue therapy and an effective treatment for invigorating your body’s ability to remove toxin build up, for calming your peripheral nervous system to ease pain, to help relax muscles and improve joint mobility and to help to correct poor posture. I strongly believe that such a therapy can play a major role in allowing one’s body to feel, function and perform the best it can. I have a strong anatomical knowledge and very good palpation skills and by using a number of different remedial massage techniques I can successfully treat conditions such as (but not limited to):

 

    • General muscle tightness and pain

 

    • Neck and back pain

 

    • Tension headaches

 

    • Frozen shoulder

 

    • Arthritis

 

    • Sciatica

 

    • Muscular spasms

 

    • Stress

 

    • Soft tissue sports injuries

Personal Training

Working with a personal trainer is the safest and most effective way to achieve your health and fitness goals. Everyone’s idea of what they want to accomplish through their training is different and therefore specific training strategies must be different. My experience as a personal trainer, my years of experience as a competitive athlete and my attention to detail enables me to develop training programs that are tailored specifically to you as an individual. No matter what your fitness goals are I will ensure I teach you to perform all movements and exercises with strong and correct technique. This will allow your body to move in its most efficient way, will enable to you work harder and will significantly reduce the likelihood of injury.
