As a Registered Psychologist and Yoga Teacher, Lisa provides an effective combination of Psychological Intervention, Counselling, Breath Awareness, Mindfulness, and Meditation to support you in your recovery and growth through lifes challenges. Lisa brings over 20 years of experience to her current practice, and has worked extensively with people experiencing challenges such as:

Anxiety and Trauma
Lisa specialises in the treatment of symptoms of anxiety and more specifically, trauma-related anxiety (recent and past). She has many years of experience providing specialised services to victims of crime and those that have experienced traumatic incidents, as well as those struggling with long term trauma and anxiety symptoms. Lisa believes that we can recover and grow from these life experiences and symptoms, by developing self-compassion and insight, and by learning techniques that support healing.

Grief
Although grief is a normal process experienced by all of us at some time in our life, the challenges can feel overwhelming at times. Sometimes people find that they are not able to share all their thoughts and feelings with family and friends, and benefit from a safe and supportive space to express these, and to learn strategies to ride the storm.

Depression

Meditation training:

Lisa also provides one-on-one teachings in meditation practice, for those interested in developing a new meditation practice, or growing their current practice. Professional Supervision Services:

Lisa provides Supervision services to counsellors, therapists and Psychologists. She is fully accredited by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Supervisor for both the speciality of Counselling, and Provisional Psychologists in training. These supervision hours can be used to meet requirements for the 5+1 and 4+2 internship programs, as well as for the Speciality endorsement of Counselling.
