Loving Change

My love of Bowen comes from my own healing journey after experiencing fatigue and restricting pain. I utilised Bowen Therapy in conjunction with a wellness plan to return to optimal health. Finding that with Bowen’s ability to relieve muscle stress in the connective tissue, combined with its effect of detoxification, my body was thus able to release old negative patterns heal itself.

Bowen is a form of soft tissue treatment that is gentle enough to be conducted on people of all ages, from baby’s right through to the elderly. It is become an increasingly popular form of healing. Bowen therapy is also effective for small animals and horses as they too experience muscular tension, pain and depression.

The therapy comprises of a number of specific movements that are performed in a non-invasive manner through light clothing. It utilises a restorative approach and can help a variety of injuries and ailments, whilst instilling a sense of calmness and ease throughout the entire body. Clients often report feeling a release and a significant reduction in symptoms.
