Which Therapy is Right for Me?

Craniosacral Therapy:
Helps relieve pain and tension by gentle manipulations of the skull regarded as harmonising with a natural rhythm in the central nervous system.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage:
Is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.

Hot Rock Therapy:
Is a speciality massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their hands as well as placing the hot stones on the body.

Remedial Massage:
Systematic assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management.

Relaxation Massage:
Specifically given to relax the body and promote wellness. Relaxation massage has the intention of moving body fluids (such as lymph and blood), nourishing cells, removing wastes from cells, relaxing muscles and diminishing any pain.

A healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

Pregnancy Massage:
Pregnancy massage is a catch-all term for any hands-on massage during or after pregnancy (prenatal or postnatal massage).

Deep Tissue Massage:
A massage that is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as lighter styles eg Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense.

Swedish Massage:
Assists in removing joint pain and stiffness. Uses sliding, gliding, kneading and rhythmic tapping.

Indian Head Massage:
The head, neck and face are massaged with the purpose of manipulating energy channels.

Aromatherapy uses fragrant oils extracted from herbs, flowers and fruits to naturally enhance the benefits of massage. Before each session begins, you can choose one of four unique oil blends to be used in your massage lotion.

Used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, and head linked to every part of the body.
