REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Remedial Massage is the assessment and treatment of muscular dysfunctions done through the use of Orthopedic Range of Movement Testing and Postural Assessment. Performed at the beginning of each treatment this is used as a base to measure improvement and devise a treatment plan to achieve the best results. Retesting may occur throughout the duration of the treatment and at the end to establish the need for future treatment.

SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports Massage is used for Pre and Post event. Pre event uses fast light to medium strokes along the length of the muscle for the purpose of activating your fast twitch fibers, increasing blood flow and Range of Movement for injury prevention and to achieve your peak performance.

Post event uses medium to firm, medium to slow strokes along the length of the muscle to activate the slow twitch fibers to assist with moving lactic acid from the muscles which cause Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). This also helps with the cool down and as well as for injury prevention.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep Tissue is a much slower massage, using firm pressure along the length of the muscles, cross friction across the fibers and firm pressure to Trigger Points to access the deeper layers. A Deep Tissue Massage can be a little uncomfortable during the treatment and may cause some discomfort for up to 2 days after. It is used to release tight and knotted muscles and also moves toxins so the body can process them. It is advisable to drink plenty of water after a Deep Tissue Massage to assist this natural process.

RELAXATION MASSAGE
A light to firm massage along the length of the muscle using Swedish Massage Techniques such as Kneading, Cross Friction, Circular motions and some light Trigger Point work. Relaxation Massage is recommended for people suffering from stress, depression, poor circulation and helps with stimulating the immune system, it is also a great way to wind down and spoil yourself or a loved one.

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE
The Lymphatic System lies just beneath the skin and above the muscle, it is responsible for our Immune System. A Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a very light rhythmic massage that helps move the lymph towards the Lymph Nodes. Used to stimulate the immune system, reduce fluid retention and for general wellbeing. Lymphatic Drainage is not only great for the Lymphatic System but also very relaxing.
