What Is Iridology?
Iridology is absolutely fascinating! It is the science of analysing the structure, texture and colour of the many thousands of nerve fibres, microscopic blood vessels, muscles and other tissues which make up the iris of the eye. Different "signs" in the iris present indication of pathological, structural and functional disturbances in the Gastro - intestinal, Musculoskeletal, Circulatory, Nervous, Endocrine and Integumentary Systems of the body.
How Does It Work?
Different "signs" in the iris can indicate inflammation, irritation, and congestion as well as the degree of Vitality and Reactivity. The irides of the eye are connected to all organs of the body via the Central Nervous System, and receive electrical and chemical impulses from all body processes ("The Neuro - Optic Effect"). The Anterior Iris undergoes specific physiological changes which correspond to pathological changes in organs and tissues of the body.
