Why Remedial Massage?

The main aim is to identify the cause of your musculoskeletal problem, formulate a treatment plan and give treatment to the appropriate areas of your body.

The Remedial Massage Therapist will be able to identify your muscle or muscles that have been placed under strain, overuse or injury; identify and treat where the pain originates, rather than just treat the area it is referring to, and use appropriate strategies to alleviate your problem.

The therapist understands the layers of the body, and has the ability to work with tissue in these layers to relax, lengthen, and release holding patterns in the most effective and energy efficient way possible.

This of course will often take more than one visit depending on the length of time your problem has been present. Once your treatment has begun, you will immediately benefit from the alleviation of pain, bringing about better posture, more flexibility, and freedom of movement.
