Many diets leave you with less muscle than you started with and that makes it even harder to burn fat.
None of this is conducive to burning fat and losing weight! In fact, your body will want to hold onto the fat it already has!
And when youíre stressed and feeling deprived youíre more likely to crave the kinds of foods that you associate with comfort, which are typically foods that cause you to gain weight. This is one of the reasons many people struggle to overcome cravings and fall off the wagon.
Well itís not your fault! Subconsciously youíre still seeking feelings of love and security. Unfortunately they only give short-term relief, if at all, and then youíre left dealing with a sense of guilt, shame, hopelessness and failure.
Itís also likely youíre doing the wrong type of boring exercise, which is hard to get motivated to do. Research shows long periods of cardio exercise also causes muscle loss and excess wear and tear on your joints.
